The artist's stylistic diversity is as broad as the materials she employs. This book also traces Bourgeois' life from her youth as the daughter of Parisian textile workers and her years studying under Ferdinand Leger, through her experiences with the leading artists of the New York School in the 40s and 50s, up to her famed large and often controversial installations. - 友人の3歳＆1歳になる子どもへプレゼントしました。1歳の子はカラフルな絵や絵本の仕掛けに興味があったようで、3歳の子は仕掛けの素材？触り心地？に興味が湧いたようです。友人は3歳の子からたくさん「これはなに？」「これはつるつる？」など尋ねられたそうです^^勉強にもなるのでとても良かった！とお礼を言われました。
